Dynamics 365 DevOps Engineer

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Littleton, CO, seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 DevOps Engineer to strengthen their internal CRM and Business Central environments. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a leading systems integrator serving both commercial and government clients. The role is remote-flexible with one full on-site collaboration week per quarter at the Littleton HQ.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git for Dynamics 365 Sales and Business Central environments.
  • Automate deployments, testing, and environment promotion from development through production.
  • Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions, including workflows, plugins, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with related platforms such as Azure, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
  • Write and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.) to support deployment and automation activities.
  • Manage and monitor environments for uptime, telemetry, and compliance; ensure alignment with DevOps best practices.
  • Document deployment procedures, versioning strategies, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in quarterly in-office sessions for roadmap planning, release reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4 8 years of professional experience in DevOps, Dynamics 365, or cloud automation roles.
  • Proven experience deploying and managing Dynamics 365 Sales / Business Central environments.
  • Expertise with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, .NET, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Understanding of SQL Server, APIs, DataVerse, and environment management.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems or services.
  • Familiarity with Azure infrastructure, identity, and permissions management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible for government security clearance.

Preferred:

  • Experience in federal / defense / regulated environments.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or custom connectors.
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $142,000 $175,000 (commensurate with experience).
