M365 Forcepoint DLP Security Engineer
Remote
We are seeking an experienced M365 Forcepoint DLP Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, cybersecurity, and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage DLP solutions with a focus on Forcepoint, M365, and Purview.
- Administer and maintain network firewalls and Data Loss Prevention functions.
- Develop, test, configure, and integrate security tools in a technical operational environment.
- Implement and manage DLP Encryption technologies, ensuring successful hardware refresh, software upgrades, software testing, patching, and complex troubleshooting.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), runbooks, and technical guidelines for DLP implementations.
- Perform policy configurations, testing, and deployment of DLP solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in network administration including TCP/IP, firewalls, and routers across Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
- Act as a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, capable of resolving product and system issues independently.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DLP solutions, preferably with Forcepoint, M365, and Purview.
- Proven experience in Cybersecurity, including security design, architecture, and technical operations.
- Strong background in network security concepts such as CASB, Data Classification, Data Discovery, and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with DLP Encryption technologies and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with information security standards, policies, and practices such as NIST SP 800-53rev4, SP 800-37 rev2, FIPS-199, and NIST 800-171.
- Experience with writing technical documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of advanced cybersecurity frameworks and tools.
- Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
