The IT Analyst will work closely with the IAM team, business partners, and application owners to elicit application onboarding requirements, validate testing, and perform data analysis to ensure accuracy. The role involves researching, analyzing, and documenting data, requirements, workflows/processes, functionality, and controls related to Identity & Access Management. The analyst develops and evaluates information to prepare recommendations that support decision-making. This position applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices within related fields, works on the most complex and high-impact projects, and serves as a technical specialist or advisor to the IAM transformation and compliance team. The analyst also acts as a liaison and subject matter expert to both business and technical stakeholders transitioning to new IAM transformation and compliance processes.
Responsibilities:Leads and delivers complex analysis across business stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and partner analysts to support significant transformational and operational initiatives for Identity & Access Management (IAM). Responsibilities include:
Assist stakeholders in understanding IAM capabilities and functions
Facilitate translation of business and operational needs from Member and Workforce channels to improve existing IAM capabilities and define new transformational capabilities
Gather requirements for onboarding applications for provisioning access and access certifications, ensuring appropriate controls
Create business test cases, develop test scripts, and perform testing to ensure completeness
Analyze data from systems such as ServiceNow, Access Directories (AD/RACF/LDAP, etc.), HR systems, and application data to support stakeholder use cases
Support business and technical stakeholders as they transition to new IAM capabilities across domains, including Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Privileged Access Management
Ensure IAM governance structures adhere to defined policies and standards
Ensure IAM capabilities, IAM operations, stakeholder usage, and application integrations comply with governance structures
Maintain strong security posture across stakeholders with proactive reviews of account access/authorization and design improvements to ensure remediation of violations
Analyze application functions, system integrations, requirements, data, processes, practices, standards, and metrics/statistics (Complex analysis)
Interpret analysis results and present recommendations, including alternatives and implications (Significant impact)
Collaborate with business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems (Significant impact)
Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material (Leadership)
Work with peers, project teams, business units, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented, and met (Leadership)
Monitor and analyze KPIs and establish preventative processes and methodologies (Complex analysis)
Compile, review, and prepare data used by analysts and management to evaluate operations, services, and products (Most complex/Unusual)
Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis, and other activities to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance (Significant impact)
Analyze information to produce data-driven inferences and hypotheses that generate actionable recommendations (Complex analysis)
Solve business problems by defining issues, interviewing stakeholders, evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings (Most complex/Unusual)
Provide input into best practices for the respective area (Leadership)
Ensure compliance with Client's ISD standards and best practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
8+ years of experience in Information Systems Analytics, Data Analytics, or Application and Platform Requirements Gathering for Identity Governance Administration (IGA) products (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt)
5+ years in operational, governance, or business/technical engagement functions within an IAM organization (financial services preferred)
Desired: Experience transitioning business and operational applications to new IAM governance processes
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)

Extensive experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence
Expert research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Extensive experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
