Position Overview
As a QinetiQ Staff Electrical Engineer you will be involved in hands-on building and troubleshooting of end to end electric solutions in autonomy, unmanned, and robotic systems. This includes the testing of electrical sub-systems, integration of new features into current solutions, and frequent hands-on work in the lab building and debugging electrical systems.
QinetiQ Technology Solutions applies decades of experience developing and delivering leading edge mission ready solutions. From front line unmanned ground robots to ship and submarine mission critical systems, the QinetiQ team prides itself on overcoming next generation threats with mission-led innovation. The location(s) for these two roles will be located in Franklin, Waltham and Devens MA.

Responsibilities
- Work within multidisciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design and support complex automated systems
- Implement engineering design changes on legacy designs
- Hands on support for production and field repairs
- Creating and executing test procedures from system level to PCB level tests
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience
- Experience with CAD tools used for electro-mechanical designs and BOM management
- Ability to work independently and manage tasking prioritization
- Hands on experience with standard lab and shop tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with circuit card design and layout
