Job Details

Description
Our client is expanding its project portfolio and needs to bring on a sr. HR/HRIS/HCM Program Manager who has experience with large HR Transformations. This role is funded through the end of 2025 but it's highly likely it will go well into 2026.
The consultant needs to be a very strong PM, be detailed and exceptionally organized, but also needs to be able to step back and see the bigger picture.
Will need to manage cross dependencies across multiple projects. Will work with another program manager to do this.
Must have several years managing projects related to HCM/HRIS systems (i.e. SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, etc.) - should be a SME in this area.
Ideally this program manager will have SuccessFactors best practice experience.
Very strong people management skills are also needed as they will oversee multiple project teams. Must be able to build great relationships with the project managers and business analysts.
Must have a strong teamwork and collaborative mindset.
Ideally the consultant will be in Colorado or Calgary, but for the right person they will allow remote work from anywhere in U.S.
Top Skills Required:
- 7+ years of HR and IT Project Management experience for large, enterprise level organizations
- 5+ years of program management experience with large HR transformations.
- Must have knowledge of the HR business processes and experience with HR transformations and operating model creation/implementations
- Outstanding core project management skills - very tactical, very organized, detail oriented, assertive, great follow-through, able to operate very independently.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, etc.
- worked in large, Enterprise environments
- can build integrations with PMs from other projects.
- Ability to work with the business and often with shifting priorities.
- Can work in a sometimes chaotic environment without getting overly stressed.
- Stakeholder management for high visible programs
- Both Waterfall and Agile processes
- Expert level documentation and organization
- Experience with HR Department programs and projects
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills with expert fluency in Microsoft tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
Skilled and proficient understanding of a variety of technology platforms, including ERP's such as SAP
Demonstrated strength in the application and interpretation of Project Management methodologies
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines using analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, vendors, and other departments
Diverse and creative solution orientation centering on both technical and process solutions
Ability to deal with project issues and risks through the use of demonstrated methods and strong management capability
Ability to effectively prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment
Duties include:
Facilitate definition of project scope, goals and deliverables in support of assigned projects in collaboration with Project Sponsors and Steering Committee members
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Estimate resources and submit budget proposals, adhering to strict financial and resource management practices during the life of the project
Develop full-scale project plans and resource schedules, and track project timelines/milestones, using appropriate planning tools
Develop and deliver status reports and Steering Committee presentations on a timely basis
Proactively guide changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans
Create, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project to ensure effective adoption of the business solution
Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations in the final Project Close report leveraging successful and unsuccessful project lessons learned

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
