Role: SFCC Commerce Solution Lead (BA + Architect + SAP Integration + Product Owner Hybrid)

Location: Remote

Overview:

We are looking for a Commerce Solution Lead with a rare combination of business analysis skills, technical architecture expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), strong experience with SAP Order Management integration, and a product mindset. This role requires end-to-end ownership from discovery to design and delivery, working at the intersection of business, user experience, and technology.


Key Responsibilities:

<>Business Analysis & Requirement Definition</>
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Conduct workshops to understand current-state B2B/B2C eCommerce processes and pain points.

  • Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Define customer journeys, product catalogs, order flows, and pricing models.

<>Solution Architecture & SFCC Design</>
  • Design scalable, high-performing SFCC B2B/B2C commerce architecture aligning with Salesforce standards.

  • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce native features vs. custom development.

  • Create solution architecture documents, integration flows, and system interaction diagrams.

  • Lead environment planning, release strategies, and DevOps pipeline design.

<>SAP Order Management Integration</>
  • Define integration patterns between Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SAP ECC/S4 HANA for:

    • Real-time product inventory and pricing sync

    • Order placement, fulfillment tracking, and status updates

    • Customer and partner account synchronization

  • Collaborate with SAP and middleware teams to ensure seamless order lifecycle management.

<>Product Ownership & Delivery Oversight</>
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Prioritize backlog items to maximize value delivery.

  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and demos to ensure the vision is implemented.

  • Validate delivered features against business expectations and ensure user adoption.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience across Business Analysis, Architecture, and eCommerce delivery

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C and/or B2B

  • Deep understanding of order lifecycle processes and SAP (ECC or S4 HANA) order management systems

  • Experience defining technical integrations, APIs, and middleware orchestration

  • Ability to create wireframes, user journeys, process flows, and architecture blueprints

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, etc.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications: B2C/B2B Commerce Architect, Order Management Specialist, Application Architect

  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps methodologies

  • Experience working with global, multi-brand Pharma commerce platforms
