Description
Overview
BA will be an active member of a co-mingled consulting and client business team. The client is implementing a waste-industry specific CRM solution. The implementation involves converting existing companies over to the new CRM. A set of standard processes and system configuration has already been established. The BA will be responsible for bridging the gap between the next scheduled facility's business needs and the CRM. The BA will ensure requirements are clearly defined, implemented, and thoroughly tested.
Responsibilities
The BA will be responsible for:
Working independently with client SMEs to document requirements. This includes but is not limited to: as is process documentation and workflows.
Working independently or with the team to design configuration options for a given process and requirements in the CRM. This includes but is not limited to: future state process documentation and workflows, gap analysis documentation, required system reference data, exception mapping analysis.
Writing documentation on process workflows. This includes but is not limited to: process narratives.
Performing basic change management analysis by documenting as is and to be processes and identifying impacts.
Executing testing in CRM to verify processes, configuration and data migration.
Configuring CRM with new site details-such as contracts, price books, materials, vehicles, actions, etc.
Qualifications:
Experience in business analysis
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent documentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work closely technical and business team members and act as the liaison
Significant experience performing requirements and business process gap analysis
Experience writing requirements documents, specifically BRDs, FRDs and Run Books
Vast testing experience, including multiple phases of testing (Functional, Integration, UAT)
Experience in agile work environments and conducting ceremonies (DSU, Planning, Sprint Reviews, etc.)
Nice to Have: Experience with a system RFP, vendor evaluation, scoring and analysis
Nice to Have: Targeted experience with financial systems
Nice to Have: Experience with preparing materials and delivering training
Search/Internal Notes for candidate evaluation:
The BA must be able to:
Perform their own due diligence to learn the CRM quickly using existing user documentation.
Proactively ask for work assignments when they have open bandwidth.
Proactively reach out to the team for assistance, rather than waiting for a due date and not being able to deliver a quality product.
Communicate frequently on Slack or MS Teams and promptly respond to messages. Even if it's saying they will get to it in x minutes/hours.
Attend meetings promptly.
Act professionally and come to the table with a consulting mindset of "how can I help" "how can we solve this" "options with impacts".
Be a team player and work through the Project Manager as needed.
Articulate themself clearly and communicate to all levels of the client organization.
Take pride in deliverables and ensure they use proper templates, formats, grammar, etc.
Have common sense, good writing skills, good listener, and comprehension skills to translate discussion and ideas into Business Requirements
Shift context quickly, understand different perspectives (e.g. from engineering team to business team)
Think strategically and digest conversations and needs into simplified and clear communication.
Ideal background: Experience with drivers, trucks, materials, finance, or operations, any exp in industries that take a physical material and knows what happens after. (I.E. Waste)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
