Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Business Architect (BA) to join our dynamic project team. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technology teams to convert business requirements and process flows into fully functional Pega applications.

This role involves working closely with lead system architects, developers, and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, while ensuring alignment with technical solutions. A minimum of 4 years experience as a Pega Business Architect is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Business and IT teams, translating functional needs into technical solutions.
  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with Lead Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to define solution scope and objectives.
  • Participate in Agile development sprints, planning sessions, and backlog grooming.
  • Manage software functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
  • Define and document acceptance criteria, test cases, training materials, and release notes.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of enterprise-level Pega solutions.
  • Create wireframes and visual models to support functional design.
  • Conduct process and product training for end-users and internal teams.
  • Support change management, documentation, and solution validation.
  • Proactively identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and integration of best practices.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 6+ years of overall relevant work experience in business analysis or similar roles.
  • 4+ years as a Pega Business Architect in an enterprise software environment.
  • Experience with use case development, process modelling, and solution deployment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Proven ability to document requirements, test cases, training materials, and lead UAT.
  • Experience configuring and deploying software solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and tasks within a fast-paced project lifecycle.
  • Solid experience with business process modelling and change management.
  • Ability to develop wireframes and translate functional requirements into designs.
  • Technical background or understanding of IT systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in organizations delivering enterprise software products to end users.
  • Ability to support customer success initiatives and post-implementation training.
  • Background in Agile tooling and backlog management.
  • Experience with integration and configuration of Pega platforms at scale.
