Sr. ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Location: Mclean VA/Plano TX (5 days onsite in a week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing ITOM solutions using industry best practices, hands-on development, and integration expertise. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ITOM solutions leveraging industry best practices.
- Perform hands-on development tasks, including the creation, configuration, and customization of patterns, discovery schedules, probes, sensors, and event rules.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with enterprise monitoring tools, application management tools, and automation of alerts using OOB plugins and API methods.
- Implement ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases.
- Conduct third-party software integrations with ServiceNow.
- Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, and other components.
- Manage MID Servers to ensure seamless integrations and operations.
- Participate in multiple ServiceNow implementations and provide expertise in the deployment process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in application architecture, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.
