Job Title: ServiceNow Engineer ITOM Contract: 12 Months Location: Remote

Experience Required: 5 20 years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to support IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping, along with a strong understanding of networking and ITSM alignment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ServiceNow Discovery, including creation and maintenance of custom patterns, probes, and sensors.

  • Implement and maintain Service Mapping capabilities.

  • Align discovery data with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

  • Maintain and optimize CMDB structure and relationships.

  • Understand and apply network protocols such as SNMP, WMI, and SSH.

  • Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and integrations.

  • Contribute to platform upgrades, including planning, testing, and validation.

  • Document system and application architectures.

  • Work within an Agile/Kanban framework, participating in ceremonies like standups, reviews, and refinements.

  • Support level 3 incident escalation for ServiceNow-related issues.

  • Engage in continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance team and system performance.

Required Technical Skills

  • ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping

  • Understanding of network protocols (SNMP, WMI, SSH)

  • Ability to align discovery data with ITSM processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills / Certifications

  • ITIL v4+ Certification

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) SPM

  • ServiceNow Now Mobile experience
