Position: Computer Support Associate I - Infrastructure
Duration: 1+ Year
Position Overview:
This role provides day-to-day operational support within a computing environment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. It involves both technical and administrative responsibilities, following well-established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and monitor standard IT processes and operations, including:
- Imaging computers
- Replacing printer toner
- Disposing of outdated assets
- Resolving trouble tickets via ServiceNow
- Maintain and update documentation such as:
- Asset records
- Process logs
- Incident reports
- Inventory and service records
- Communicate effectively via email and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues using pre-established solutions; escalate non-standard issues as needed.
- Support equipment maintenance, inventory monitoring, and vendor coordination.
- Apply basic technical knowledge to support operations, including:
- Printer maintenance (e.g., toner and roller replacement)
- Troubleshooting using knowledge base (KB) articles
Job Requirements:
- Solid understanding of computing and networking fundamentals
- Experience with AV/conference room support is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard internet/intranet tools
- Familiarity with agile methodology
- Knowledge of computer security policies and general security concepts
- Minimum of 1 year of IT experience preferred (entry level candidates will also be considered)
