Title :Application Programmer V

Location:Northeastern United States (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$48.82-$71.17/Hrs

Description:
* Serve as the first point of contact for end business users in the trading environment.
* Manage and deliver onboarding support for processes within the organization.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Monitor and alert on critical trading system environments.
* Troubleshoot complex systems issues effectively.
* Identify and resolve problem hotspots proactively.
* Develop tools to drive efficiency and stability improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Implement release and enforce change management policy.
* Manage major incidents and problem management processes.
* Track support efforts accurately for effective management reporting.
* Provide hands-on support to front-office trading desks.
* Facilitate the full front-to-back process from trade inception to risk management.

Qualifications:
* Experience with direct support to trading desks.
* Business knowledge of fixed income products.
* Understanding of market data flows.
* Proficiency in Unix, SQL, and Python.
* Experience with ITIL and grid computing.
