Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite at Philadelphia, 2 days remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with a strong technical background and deep understanding of cable network infrastructure to lead the development and evolution of the ROCI (Routing of Cable Infrastructure) platform. This is a shared product used to create and manage a graph database for cable routing, with a strong emphasis on data architecture, syndication, and modernization.
The ideal candidate will be a niche product owner who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, participation in dual Agile ceremonies, and a proactive approach to backlog management and framework evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Product Owner for the ROCI platform, a data-intensive product leveraging Neo4j and Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, especially in response to new syndication partners.
- Ensure alignment across multiple Agile teams and maintain clear communication of goals and progress.
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies for two distinct teams, ensuring consistent delivery and collaboration.
- Drive modernization efforts, focusing on multi-centered architecture, ETL processes, and framework enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable user stories.
- Maintain a strong focus on data quality, structure, and performance, particularly in the context of graph databases and cable infrastructure.
- Support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of cable networking and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and managing multiple Agile teams.
- Technical proficiency in SQL Server, query writing, and data organization.
- Experience with Neo4j or other graph databases.
- Familiarity with Databricks, ETL pipelines, and data ingestion workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite in Philadelphia.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CMPS certification or equivalent.
- Experience in shared product environments.
