Job Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for providing daily technical support, enhancements, and stable operation to SERVPRO'S LAN/WAN infrastructure environment. Responsibilities encompass support for a LAN/WAN Infrastructure of Corporate users and daily access and usage to corporate systems for 2,000+ franchises nationwide. The Senior Systems Administrator role also includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure), software as a service platform, and communication links.

You will
Provide maintenance, enhancements, and implementation for LAN/WAN hardware resources including, but not limited to network switches, storage systems, load balancers, blade server infrastructure and backup systems on-premises and on cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades for the LAN environment.
Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Provide daily technical Production support for SERVPRO'S LAN/WAN physical and cloud-based infrastructure environment.
Provide maintenance, enhancements and implementation for Single Sign-on infrastructure including Active Directory Services, third party GUI and third-party middle tier integration.
Maintain and support off the shelf applications as requested.
Manage and maintain security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
Manage and maintain data backup processes and resources.
Perform network design and capacity planning.
Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery infrastructure and processes.
Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
Maintain network component inventory documentation and technical specifications information.
Provide necessary support for cloud-based platforms including, but not limited to, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.
Perform server and security audits.

You have
Ability to read, write, and communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
Five plus years in Technical Production Environment providing LAN/WAN support.
Five plus years hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and operations.
Three plus years of experience managing and supporting cloud-based infrastructure and services.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience in a related field.
