Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer/Administrator with 3 5 years of experience in building and managing Tableau environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating complex dashboards, managing Tableau Server, and integrating with data warehouses and cloud platforms. This role requires strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data pipelines, and exposure to cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop.
- Administer and configure Tableau Server, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, for reporting and analytics.
- Automate tasks and workflows using scripting languages (Python, SQL, etc.).
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on best practices for BI architecture and performance tuning.
- Stay current with BI tools, cloud technologies, and emerging analytics trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 5 years of professional experience in Tableau development and administration.
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop for advanced visualization and dashboard design.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau Server administration and configuration.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, extraction, and data manipulation.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Looker).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or advanced SQL.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance tuning of Tableau dashboards and queries.
- Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD practices in BI/Analytics environments.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
