Description
Project Manager / Coordination - Critical Infrastructure Operations
Reports To: Manager of Implementation Operations
Job Summary: We are looking for a Project Manager to support one of our client Network Operations and Critical Infrastructure. This role involves managing Operations Projects within Facilities. This is a remote, work from home position with the need to visit sites 1-2 days a week.
The Project Manager will ensure the successful execution of projects, maintain operational readiness, and manage day-to-day performance.
The Majority of the work will be small projects and coordination of Operations work such as; HVAC system replacement, battery replacement and preventative maintenance.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, budgets, and reports.
Ensure construction invoicing is submitted correctly, on time, and on forecast.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including owners, contractors, architects, and engineers.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Prepare and present project status
Asset Life Cycle Management: Identify and complete upgrades to critical infrastructure systems (End of Life, capacity, planned additions, and new build) by developing and implementing project plans, schedules, methods of procedures (MOP), and scopes of work (SOW).
Preventive Maintenance Management: Manage tasks for critical infrastructure sites (Generators, UPS, DC Plants, HVAC, and overall site conditions) by reviewing, updating, and creating necessary procedures and scopes of work for these systems.
Compliance: Ensure that contracted services follow company standards, guidelines, and procedures required to satisfy safety, reliability, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Vendor Management: Schedule, manage, and review 3rd party vendors and contractors that perform work on critical infrastructure systems.
Training: Identify and provide training to team members and other users of critical infrastructure systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
o Strong Understanding of Project Management Fundamentals
o Critical infrastructure, Data Center On Site Experience, including knowledge of HVAC systems
o Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
o Familiarity with both DC and AC power systems
o Familiarity with back-up power infrastructure including generators, batteries, UPS, etc.
o Understanding of critical infrastructure equipment monitoring systems and protocols
o Ability to travel as needed

o Experience with space optimization and performance improvement (Whitespace/Cooling/Power) is considered an asset.

o Strong communication and coordination skills.
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to fluctuating workloads.
o Ability to travel to project sites in and around Montreal 1-2 days a week and outside of Montreal on as needed basis.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $4500.00 - $5500.00/hr.
