Job Title: Network Engineer (Citrix NetScaler Load Balancing)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer specializing in Citrix NetScaler (ADC/Gateway) with advanced Load Balancing expertise. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting load balancing solutions to ensure high availability, reliability, and security of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain Citrix NetScaler load balancing solutions for enterprise applications.
- Implement and manage L4/L7 load balancing, content switching, global server load balancing (GSLB), and traffic management policies.
- Configure and optimize SSL offloading, TCP optimization, and compression on NetScaler.
- Deploy and manage NetScaler Gateway for secure remote access and application publishing.
- Work with application teams to ensure scalable and highly available application delivery.
- Integrate load balancing with Active Directory, LDAP, MFA, and SSO solutions.
- Configure and maintain NetScaler WAF to protect against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex load balancing and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and analyze performance, traffic patterns, and capacity planning.
- Perform patching, upgrades, firmware management, and security hardening of NetScaler appliances.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network/application delivery issues.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and network diagrams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler (ADC, Gateway, WAF).
- Proven expertise in L4/L7 load balancing, GSLB, SSL offloading, and content switching.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with application traffic optimization, high availability (HA), and failover configurations.
- Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP, Cisco ACE, or other load balancing technologies (a plus).
- Knowledge of security protocols (TLS/SSL, PKI, IPSec, MFA).
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, Wireshark, etc.).
- Cloud networking exposure (AWS ALB/ELB, Azure Load Balancer, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
