ROLE SUMMARY

Design, build, and operate secure, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using Terraform, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices for a financial-services environment.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Formal training/certification in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of applied experience across Azure services: Storage, Compute, Integration, IAM, Network.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python) plus experience with the Azure SDK; full-SDLC proficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial-services industry and related IT systems.
• Security, Policy & Governance (client emphasis)
• Experience writing and testing Azure Policies; strong understanding of Azure policies and governance.
• Strong Terraform (IaC) skills and practical cloud-native delivery experience.
• Proficiency with automation/CI/CD pipelines and tools, including Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Experience with Git (branching, PRs, code reviews).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to INDEPENDENTLY diagnose and resolve design/functionality issues with little to no oversight.
• Hands-on delivery across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments (e.g., secure IAM/RBAC usage, network segmentation, secrets management, baseline hardening).
• Develop and maintain services/tools/automation in Python (leveraging Azure SDK) following full SDLC.
