Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer (Development) Big Data)


Location: Remote (EST Time Zone in USA)


Duration: 03 Months - (Extension/Conversion based on performance)


Pay Range: ($90-$95) on an hourly basis

Qualifications




  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.




  • Strictly looking for 7 - 10 years of hands-on data engineering or analytics experience.




Must-Have Skills



  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (data pipelines, transformations, ontology workflows).




  • Strong proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.




  • Experience with at least one programming language: Python or Scala.




  • Ability to build visualizations/dashboards (Foundry Slate or other BI tools).




  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data quality frameworks.




  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.




Good-to-Have





  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.




  • Familiarity with Git or version control workflows.




  • Exposure to APIs, data integration, or automation scripts.





Overview



  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Engineer with strong experience in Palantir Foundry to support enterprise data workflows, develop analytical pipelines, and build scalable data products.

  • The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data modeling, SQL, and dashboard/report automation, with hands-on exposure to modern cloud and data engineering tools.


Key Responsibilities




  • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and workflows in Palantir Foundry (Code Workbook, Contour, Quiver, Slate).




  • Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and metrics to support business decision-making.




  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation across multiple datasets.




  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.




  • Troubleshoot data issues and ensure reliable delivery of data products.




  • Support documentation, versioning, and best practices for data governance.




  • Work with structured/unstructured datasets from varied business domains.
