Engineer Tech III (collecting data on aviation security x-ray and mm-wave equipment)

Title: Engineer Tech III
location: Tewksbury, MA
duration: 6 months
work schedule: 9/80 schedule- Start at 9a-6p, some flexibility.

The role will serve in support of the data collection team.
The primary tasks will involve lifting of luggage and test articles up to 40 lbs, to scan on our equipment.
The individual will be trained on basic operation of the equipment, to support these efforts.
Use of internal tools to facilitate copy of data from the equipment and data engineering may also be in scope.
Familiarity working within a Linux based OS is preferred, but not required.

Position requires hands on time collecting data on aviation security x-ray and mm-wave equipment.

typical workday:
Coming in, team meeting, go to lab, starting up machine, executing on test plan. They will have documented instructions on how to execute the plan. End of day, copying collected data and putting on shared servier.

must have hard skills:
Helping with Data Collection. Lift 40lb bags, copying data from Instrument. Plugging hard drive into computer and basic computer skills. Will be working with 2 team members

Degree Requirements: HS or equivalent.
Degree Preferences: Associate preferred.
