Job Title: E&C Engineer II

Location: Pueblo Commanche Plant - 2005 Lime Road Pueblo CO , 81006 (5 days per week onsite )

Duration: 12 months & possible extension

Overview

This role will essentially be an Engineering project lead at our Comanche power station in Pueblo, Co. This individual will be responsible for many assigned capital emergent projects and working with the plant to develop the scope of the project, submitting emergent project requests for approval and funding. They would also be managing those projects from cradle to grave. Everything from getting the contract scope of work in place to overseeing the work at the plant facility, getting all materials ordered, safety, quality, budgeting, and schedule. This resource is expected to be onsite at Comanche five days a week as they will be working very closely with the operations and maintenance groups at Comanche because most of the work for this site and role will be performed by Plant operations and maintenance personnel. This resource will also work closely with the Reliability engineering group there as well will be Support will be there to support the technical aspects of the projects.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years technical [Mechanical] experience is preferred (most projects are mechanical in nature).
  • Willing to look at candidates out of college with Bachelor of Engineering. If no schooling/degree, must have commensurate experience.
  • Any manufacturing and industrial experience would be nice to have. Should have cradle to grave Project management experience.
  • If this resource doesn t have PM experience, they should at a minimum be interested in it and have the ability/willingness to learn.
  • This resource should understand that this role is NOT strictly engineering/technical, there will be a lot of paperwork, project management and operational items to do as well.
  • SAP for workorder management/purchasing.
  • ProjectWise for drawings in addition to Documentum for historical drawings. Resource should be very proficient with Microsoft office, SharePoint for routing and Workflows, Outlook, Team s, etc
