As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you will join a team of experienced individuals who design, develop and test Viasat's Satellite Communications Terminals! The first opportunity you will work on involves the integration and test of our next generation maritime modem!

Salary range
$93,000.00 - $147,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $115,500.00- $173,500.00/ annually

What you'll do
As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you will join a team of experienced individuals who design, develop and test Viasat's Satellite Communications Terminals! The first opportunity you will work on involves the integration and test of our next generation maritime modem!
The day-to-day
- Develop test cases to support modem as device under test as well as the integration of the modem into the terminal
- Support lab build out for terminal test integration
What you'll need
- Test case and procedure development experience
- 2+ years of system engineering or system integration & test experience
- Strong organization skills and ability to work with development and test teams
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
What will help you on the job
- SATCOM or wireless/RF communication system experience
- Requirements management/project engineering experience
- Knowledge of networking (IP, TCP, UDP, Routing etc)
