Job Details
Trigyn Direct Client has a long-term contract opportunity (4 years) for a Sr. Palo Alto NGFW/CISCO Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (REMOTE) with occasional visit onsite, so need LOCAL candidates or in the PA/DE/NJ/VA/MD area ONLY!
Roles and responsibilities include:
? Must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support
? Need to attend on-site meetings/demonstrations one week per year.
Minimum skills and experience:
? Cisco certifications are required
? Minimum of 10 years? network engineering experience with 5 years in Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall (NGFW)
? Expert knowledge of Cisco hardware (switches, routers) and IOS
? Expert knowledge of Palo Alto NGFW
? Expert knowledge of Cisco ISE
? Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, TLS SIP
? Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance and disaster recovery purposes
? Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team
? Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storage?FC, FCIP, virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS)
? Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept efforts
