Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who excels at troubleshooting and providing technical support. The role involves addressing a variety of IT issues while ensuring smooth operations and enhancing the overall user experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Resolve password reset requests and troubleshoot application, printer, and basic technical problems.
Manage and update master computer images, including building new configurations as needed.
Maintain an inventory of technical equipment and ensure proper documentation.
Handle warranty claims and support for computer hardware.
Administer Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments.
Diagnose and address recurring and nonrecurring issues with software and operating systems, identifying root causes at a detailed level.
Develop and document alternative methods to improve task efficiency and resolve system inconsistencies.
Install and terminate Ethernet cabling following industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to refine policies and procedures based on technical challenges and solutions.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory for user and system management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and its configuration.
Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and environments.
Ability to manage and respond to service desk tickets effectively.
Knowledge of scripting for installing desktop applications and environment settings.
Capability to configure, maintain, and modify Windows 10 systems.
Strong organizational skills to maintain technical inventories and software licenses.
