Syndigo MDM Architect

Job Summary: This is a 100% Remote Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Syndigo Architect to design, implement, and manage Syndigo s data syndication and product content management solutions across multiple platforms. This role will be critical in ensuring the successful integration of Syndigo with other enterprise systems, optimizing content workflows, and managing large datasets to meet business goals. The Syndigo Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, product management, marketing, and operations to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design: Lead the design and architecture of Syndigo solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing business systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM, eCommerce).

• Implementation: Manage end-to-end implementation of Syndigo product content and data syndication platforms across multiple systems and channels.

• Integration: Develop and maintain integration workflows between Syndigo and internal systems like Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Content Management Systems (CMS).

• Data Management: Oversee data modeling, data flow, and data transformation strategies to ensure high-quality content and accurate syndication across various marketplaces and retailers.

• Custom Solutions: Design custom extensions and enhancements to Syndigo's platform to meet specific business requirements, ensuring flexibility and scalability.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and IT teams, to align business objectives with technology solutions.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor performance of the Syndigo platform and integrations, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for content management, product syndication, and data governance across the enterprise.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure all implementations are compliant with security policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on product content management, PIM systems, and data syndication solutions.

• Syndigo Expertise: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Syndigo s platform, including implementation, integration, and data syndication workflows.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data integration tools, APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware. Experience with PIM/DAM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Informatica).

• Data Management: Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and master data management (MDM) concepts.

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and SaaS solutions.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver solutions on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 - 5 years in Syndigo (or Riversand).

• Proven experience in implementing and customizing Syndigo's PIM and MDM solutions.

• Experience with Syndigo s River platform and syndication processes to major retailers and online marketplaces.

• Experience with product data governance and compliance standards (e.g., GS1, GDSN).

• Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, or in cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
