Job Details

This is a direct hire role and will be onsite 5 days a week. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for planning and leading the Network Engineering team in the research and implementation of new systems, and the performance, availability, and security of existing systems. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for leading technology projects that involve switches, routers, circuits, network servers. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for leading the development of technical recommendations to improve the technology environment and meet corporate strategic goals. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for ensuring the production technology environment is available and performing as expected. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for planning and leading efforts to improve the business recovery environment, as well as leading and participating in the semi-annual business recovery tests. The Manager Network Engineering is responsible for developing and enforcing strong discipline and installation guidelines in regards to the Data Center and switch closet racks, cabling, equipment, and power.
Job-Specific Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
10+ years' experience in a network administration role and in supporting network related infrastructure and software.
Must be able to create written documents that effectively present recommendations, an analysis of problems or communicate the status of the system.
Must have knowledge of and the ability to apply Project Management Methodologies.
Must have demonstrated the ability to resolve conflict, work in a team setting, effectively problem solve, make appropriate decisions, communicate orally and in written form effectively and accomplish results.
Demonstrated ability to direct project teams in the planning and installation of technology projects required.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of network protocols and associated applications and troubleshooting skills.
Must have a thorough understanding of current networking technologies, security administration, and backup & disaster recovery technologies and solutions.
Must be proficient in use of LAN technologies and current corporate standard desktop productivity applications as well as project management and visual documentation tools.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
