Power Platform Developer (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) Mid-Level / Senior

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Power Platform Developers with strong expertise in Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. The role involves designing and developing custom applications, automated workflows, and business intelligence solutions to support enterprise process automation and data-driven decision-making. Ideal candidates will have experience with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Dataverse, Azure, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities:

Mid-Level Developer:

• Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps for various business use cases.
• Design Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements and integrated with Power Apps.
• Create Power Automate workflows for process automation, including approvals, notifications, and integrations.
• Use DAX, Power Query, and SQL for efficient data modeling and transformations.
• Integrate with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel, and third-party APIs.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Power Platform solutions.
• Document solutions and provide training and technical support to end-users.

Senior Developer:

• Architect and implement complex Power Apps solutions with multi-source data integration.
• Lead development of enterprise-grade Power BI reports, ensuring data governance, security (RLS), and performance tuning.
• Develop and optimize Power Automate workflows including RPA scenarios, API connectors, and approval processes.
• Drive automation strategies and digital transformation initiatives with Power Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, setting best practices and coding standards.
• Oversee governance, environment management, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
• Integrate Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Synapse) for extended capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

Mid-Level:

• 2-4 years experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Proficient in Canvas Apps, Power BI visualizations, Power Automate workflows, and basic RPA.
• Strong in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Power Platform connectors.
• Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure basics.
• Understanding of automation workflows, approval processes, and user interface design.

Senior-Level:

• 5+ years in Microsoft Power Platform development with deep expertise in Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Strong background in solution architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Advanced skills in custom connectors, RPA (Power Automate Desktop), and Azure integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, Power Platform ALM, and governance policies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, define automation strategies, and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and AI Builder.

Preferred Certifications:

• PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate
• PL-300: Data Analyst Associate
• PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate
• PL-500: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (Bonus for RPA)
• PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (Senior level)
