Job Description:
Value technology hiring a Data Architect for an onsite position in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data modeling using Erwin, and a solid background in databases, data warehousing, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain data models to meet business needs
- Use Erwin for both logical and physical data modeling
- Work with various databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL, and Snowflake
- Develop and support data warehouse models including star schemas and ETL processes
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation
- Support cloud-native data architecture
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Erwin data modeling software
- Deep understanding of data modeling principles and best practices
- Solid SQL skills and experience with different DBMS
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of PCI compliance and security standards like Tokenization and Encryption
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders on data design
- Background in the Credit Card or Financial Services industry
