job summary:

We are seeking an experienced SuccessFactors HRIS Specialist to play a pivotal role in the continued development and optimization of a recently implemented SAP SuccessFactors HRIS platform. This is a highly visible role that will serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders (IT and HR) and a third-party consulting partner, supporting functional HR systems, driving reporting efficiencies, and helping to shape the future of HR technology within a collaborative, long-tenured organization.


This position offers a unique opportunity to step into a newly created role and influence strategic HRIS decision-making, while working closely with technical project managers, end-users, and executives.


Location: 100% Onsite - Long Island, NY

responsibilities:


  • Lead ongoing evaluation and optimization of HRIS platforms, including modules for payroll, time, benefits, performance, and talent management.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and third-party vendors to resolve system issues and support new implementations and enhancements.
  • Gather requirements, translate functional HR needs into technical documentation, and support end-to-end system configurations and testing.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures for HRIS operations.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and reporting solutions across the organization.
  • Create and manage reporting tools to support HR decision-making and compliance needs.
  • Drive HR process automation and operational efficiency within the HRIS ecosystem.


qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with HRIS systems.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience is required.
  • Strong experience managing system implementations, upgrades, and functional support.
  • Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specs and partner with internal/external teams for solution delivery.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to design reports and dashboards using HR data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work onsite daily with future flexibility for 1 day/week remote.


skills: Must Have Skills:



  • 5+ years of hands on functional SME in SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • 5+ years experience liaising between IT and HR teams to provide tech support, troubleshooting, and reporting for HR data and systems
  • 5+ years experience creating and documenting business process workflows and SOPs for SuccessFactors
  • 5+ years experience gathering system requirements for HR and business users and translating to technical specs in order to work with outsourced vendor partner to drive SuccessFactors design, config, test, and deployments and upgrades.
  • Ability to create and drive efficiencies in reporting through SuccessFactors
