Job Details

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements for various software development projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined, documented, and understood.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure that they align with the goals of the project.
  • Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Assists in the development and execution of test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Structures and leads the user acceptance test effort to ensure the products created match business specifications.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks to project leadership as needed.
  • Assists in the creation and management of project plans.
  • Occasionally takes responsibility for the successful delivery of small-scale technology, development, or functional business projects.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field and/or three years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on software development projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with software development tools such as Jira is preferred.
