Rate: $65 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Lead EMR implementation and upgrade projects from initiation to completion.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • System Implementation & Optimization:
    • Oversee system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
    • Ensure EMR systems meet regulatory, security, and interoperability standards.
    • Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and system enhancements.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Coordinate with EMR vendors and third-party consultants.
    • Manage contracts, service level agreements, and vendor performance.
  • Risk & Change Management:
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Manage change control processes and ensure documentation is up to date.


Experience Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in EMR systems or Healthcare IT environments
  • International experience - will primarily be responsible for UK/Europe environments
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
