Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with a PhD in a quantitative field to lead the design, development, and deployment of a next-generation Intelligent Forecasting Application. This role is central to enabling predictive decision-making across supply chain, demand planning, and production for a major automotive OEM.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable forecasting solutions using ML/DL models like ARIMA, LSTM, Transformers, etc.

Translate complex automotive business needs into technical specs and production-grade solutions.

Lead MLOps pipelines, model monitoring, and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications:

PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

5+ years of experience in ML/AI with hands-on forecasting model development

Strong Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and experience with time-series libraries (e.g., Prophet)

MLOps knowledge (MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD)

Experience working in an automotive/manufacturing/supply chain environment is mandatory

Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
