Your Role:

You will be pivotal in driving the development of innovative products that align with the evolving needs of next-generation bioprocessing, focusing on efficiency, resilience, flexibility, and intensification. As a key member of our product development teams, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise and contributions are not only recognized but also highly valved.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the planning and execution of upstream applications studies to evaluate new products in a laboratory setting.
  • Analyze data and provide timely interpretation and communication of results to the project team, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Commercial, Quality, and Procurement to drive product concepts through development and validation to achieve successful commercialization.
  • Bring the bioprocessing end-user perspective by understanding process design targets, performance expectations, competitive offerings, and technology gaps; propose innovative solutions and actionable next steps to meet these objectives.
  • Create customer-facing materials, such as application notes, webinars, and performance guides, that effectively showcase the value of our new solutions.
  • Provide technical support for customer trials, investigations, and the exploration of new use cases for our products.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to demonstrate product capabilities, resolve technical inquiries, and collect actionable feedback to ultimately drive deeper customer engagement and satisfaction.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or other engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of Bioprocessing experience

OR
  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or other engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working hands-on with mammalian cell culture, bioreactor operations, intensified bioprocessing, and the application of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in upstream bioprocessing.
  • Experience applying engineering and scientific principles to address complex technical challenges.
  • Experience analyzing experimental data, interpret results, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent proactive and self-motivation skills with a strong interest in driving innovation and contributing to team success.
  • Experience working in product development.
  • Experience in the development and application of single-use films, such as integrity testing, E&L analysis, and cell growth studies etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of product and process development activities, including design of experiments (DOE), FMEA, design for manufacturing, test method development, and qualification/validation.
