Mainframe Production Support Engineer

The Mainframe Support Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and optimization for mainframe systems.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe systems, including IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe applications.

Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system backups, software updates, and security patches.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments, system upgrades, and configuration changes.

Analyze system logs and performance data to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Develop and maintain documentation for mainframe processes, procedures, and best practices.

Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure system availability and data integrity.

Provide on-call support for critical incidents and emergencies as needed.
