Senior IT Project Manager - Enterprise Survey Platform (Qualtrics)

Location: Torrance, CA

Work Type: Onsite - 4 days per week

Contract 52 Weeks

Position Overview

The Senior IT Project Manager will lead delivery efforts for an enterprise-wide survey platform program utilizing Qualtrics. This role is responsible for coordinating work across internal business teams, IT partners, QA teams, and external vendors to ensure successful planning, development, testing, and deployment of survey and reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing complex, vendor-supported technology programs and excels in communication, governance, and structured delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution
  • Manage the full project plan including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
  • Drive day-to-day delivery across survey development, reporting dashboards, integrations, QA, and UAT.
  • Track vendor deliverables, SLAs, and work progress; escalate risks and delays proactively.
  • Maintain and update RAID logs for risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.

Vendor Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external vendor teams, including Qualtrics and consulting partners.
  • Ensure clarity of deliverables, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate requirement handoffs, change requests, and delivery sign-off.
  • Monitor vendor performance and readiness for testing and deployment activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
  • Act as the central communication point for the program.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status dashboards, executive updates, and progress reporting.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and working sessions; define agendas and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate business readiness activities and rollout communications as needed.

Testing & Deployment Coordination
  • Partner with BSA and QA teams to plan and execute testing cycles.
  • Ensure UAT readiness: test scripts, tester assignments, environments, and data.
  • Support deployment planning, cutover coordination, and go-live checkpoints.

Governance & Delivery Discipline
  • Ensure scope clarity and manage change control processes.
  • Track alignment to statements of work and budget usage.
  • Maintain project documentation, audit artifacts, plans, and approval records.


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, preferably supporting customer experience or digital platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor-delivered technology programs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners.
  • Strong skills in project planning, RAID management, communication, and governance.
  • Experience coordinating UAT and structured deployment cycles.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-tracking tools.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Qualtrics, Voice of Customer (VoC) programs, or survey-based platforms.
  • Background in digital product delivery, CRM, CX, analytics, or marketing technology.
  • Familiarity with data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
