Job Details

ASSYST is seeking a skilled Computer Software / Integration Analyst to analyze, integrate, and maintain software systems across various platforms and environments. This role ensures that applications work together seamlessly, support business operations, and align with strategic goals. The analyst will collaborate with software engineers, project managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to implement and optimize system integrations.

The role also involves developing and implementing web applications using React.js, Power Apps, and administering the ServiceNow platform for service desk support.

Job Title: Application Integration Specialist Location: Laurel, MD (Hybrid)

Job Description Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current software systems and integration points to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    Design, develop, and implement software integration solutions using React.js, Power Apps, APIs, middleware, and data transformation tools.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and onboarding of new applications into existing ecosystems.
    Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, integration processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows and resolve issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
  • Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform unit and integration testing to validate system performance and data accuracy.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration and configuration of the ServiceNow platform, including system upgrades, monitoring performance, and documentation.
  • Provide support for ServiceNow issues and manage security protocols and integrations.
  • Build custom dashboards and reports.

Education & Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
  • ServiceNow Administrator or Developer Certification
  • Cloud Certification (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)

General Experience:

  • Familiarity with life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management
  • Understanding of implementing computer systems in a phased approach: requirements analysis, conceptual design, site survey, system design review, installation, integration, and testing
  • Experience assisting in requirements analysis across business domains such as office automation, finance, and accounting
  • Ability to contribute to system design efforts and participate in formal review processes
