We have partnered with our health insurance client in their search for an Interim Senior Director of AI Business Enablement. (Long-term Contract)


Responsibilities




  • Drive AI programs from ideation through value realization: Lead enterprise AI initiatives that enhance productivity, integrate agentic AI capabilities, and strengthen data-driven decision-making. Reimagine and redesign core business processes to fully leverage AI technologies, enabling measurable ROI, operational uplift, and sustainable performance improvements. Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, clearly articulating business impact, transformation outcomes, and the evolution of roles and workflows enabled by AI.




  • Establish and enforce AI governance: Define best practices, ethical guidelines, and decision-making structures within the AI practice, ensuring compliance, alignment, and transparency across departments.




  • Partner with cross-functional Senior Leadership: Collaborate with the VP of Architecture, CDIO, Chief of Staff, and senior technology and business stakeholders to optimize & rewire functions for further AI adoption, implementation, and execution to further advance their AI transformation roadmap.




Skills Required



  • Lead AI Business Enablement: Proven background to effectively serve as their internal Senior AI Leader / AI Visionary spearheading strategic ideation (enabling Agentic AI), Applying AI technologies to reimagine business processes, and demonstrate the necessary executive prescence to effectively partner with Senior Leadership & Key Business Stakeholder.


  • Hands-on AI execution expertise: Proven experience deploying and scaling AI/ML solutions within enterprise environments - particularly leveraging Salesforce AI, Agent Force, Anthropic (LLMs), Microsoft Copilot, and/or homegrown AI platforms.




  • Strategic and operational leadership: Ability to lead multidisciplinary AI teams, make high-level technology and program decisions, and guide large-scale execution rather than pure architecture design.




  • Strong Agentic AI and productivity transformation experience: Deep understanding of agentic AI frameworks (including implementing ethical AI governance protocols, e.g: NIST AI Risk Management Framework), automation enablement, and applying AI to drive cost-efficiency and business performance improvements.




Education & Work Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, IT, or related field)

  • 7-10+ years of Professional Experience
