- Client is seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Researcher and Designer to lead the design of a new SharePoint Online intranet site for one of its internal divisions.
- This is a contract-based role with a fixed timeline and budget, ideal for a seasoned professional who can independently drive a user-centered design process from discovery through delivery.
- The intranet will serve as a central hub for communication, resources, and collaboration, and your work will directly impact the daily experience of hundreds of employees.
- The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in UX research and design, with a portfolio that includes enterprise intranet or digital workplace solutions.
- You should be comfortable working independently, managing your own timelines, and presenting your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive user research, including stakeholder interviews, surveys, and persona development.
- You will analyze user needs, pain points, and workflows to inform the site's structure and functionality.
- Your insights will shape the information architecture and guide the creation of intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
- A strong command of UX research methodologies and the ability to translate findings into actionable design strategies is essential.
- Based on the UX research, you will be responsible for creating wireframes for the homepage, information layout, page templates, user flows, and design specifications that adhere to Client's brand standards and technical requirements.

- Effective collaboration with IT, communications, and business stakeholders will be crucial to ensure that the intranet aligns with both user expectations and organizational goals.
