Position Summary:
This role is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and directing the activities and staff of the Community Health Services Division within the Public Health Department. The incumbent may also directly oversee one or more programs within the division and must meet all applicable professional qualifications or licenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically lead and manage the Community Health Services Division.
- Direct core programs such as Nutrition Services, WIC, Violence Prevention, Diabetes, Tobacco Control, Oral Health, Asthma Start, and Older Adults Health initiatives aligned with the division's mission.
- Ensure implementation is data-driven, equity-focused, and aligned with broader departmental initiatives like the Community Health Improvement Plan.
- Foster partnerships with community-based organizations, stakeholders, and internal teams to address social determinants of health and drive forward population-level improvements.
