Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a -96-month contract position with our agriculture client. The position will be fully remote and work in CST.
Compensation: $100.00 - $110.00/hr W2 or $110.00 - $120.00/hr C2C
Summary:
Our client has an exciting opportunity within Information Technology. We are seeking a Dynamics 365 - Software Engineer, with a focus on Dynamics Customer Service. You will join a talented, energetic team, making a measurable impact with the work you do every day. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise to design, prototype, refine, and implement solutions to solve complex problems and to achieve our strategy, while considering system capacity, limitations, performance, and desired outcomes.
Devise or modify code to solve complex problems considering system capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results.
Perform technical reviews of code developed by other personnel.
Assist with activity, status and progress reports as well as with the creation of comprehensive test plans, including individual program test plans and system test plans.
Adhere to programming/development deadlines as determined by supervisor or more senior team member.
Operate within IT development standards and a standard system development life cycle.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications (required)
5+ years of general development experience, primarily within web technologies
o Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of a software development life cycle
2+ years of related experience with the following
o Dynamics / Power Platform development, including:
MDA / Canvas application development
Power Automate flows
Strong understanding and usage of Dataverse
o Familiarity with Power BI
Experience working in an Agile team environment, using the Scrum framework. Comfortable working with fast-paced collaborative teams.
Proven track record of successfully troubleshooting complex issues
Preferred Qualifications (desired)
1+ year(s) of related experience with Dynamics customer service development
Demonstrated experience creating, utilizing and/or diagnosing web services, including web service security
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation of processes. Ideally some exposure to Octopus Deploy
Experience integrating Dynamics with communication platforms, like Five9 or MS Contact center.
