Job Details
A global trading firm is rapidly growing and building a new data center in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. They are currently hiring datacenter technicians to join their team and work on this critical project. This is a full time direct hire position located in Little Rock, AR. The role offers unique exposure to cutting-edge financial technology infrastructure and you'll be the hands-on guardian of mission-critical infrastructure that powers multi-million dollar trading operations across global markets.
In this position as a Data Center Technician you'll be building out their new data center and then troubleshooting complex problems and implementing preventative maintenance protocols that ensure trading algorithms operate without interruption in an environment where milliseconds matter. You will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of critical infrastructure components including all mechanical electrical and plumbing systems at the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with some industry experience looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of critical systems such as power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and backup generators.
- Familiarity with data center operations and industry best practices is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose issues with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies and to work flexible hours when necessary.
- Previous experience in a highly disciplined field such as military or teaching is ideal.
