Job Title: Peoplesoft Business Analyst

Description:
This position is for a Business Analyst/Tester role that requires meticulous data validation experience and skills to join our project team, with a specific focus on supporting the rigorous testing of our new payroll system. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in safeguarding payroll data and ensuring a seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to understand payroll system requirements and design testing strategies for the new release.
- Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data throughout the system.
- Provide regular status updates and progress reports on testing activities for the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development of training materials and user documentation related to the new payroll system functionalities.
- Participate in post-implementation review and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Understand and analyze business processes and requirements related to financial management, accounting, procurement, and other finance-related functions.
- Understand PeopleSoft and oracle Fusion Financials modules to align with business requirements, such as payroll operations, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, cash management, and other finance-related configurations.
- Analyze processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement through software support.
- Document requirements in user stories/use cases and epics.
- Document test requirements in test cases.
- Analyze and document system interfaces, database structures, and data flows.
- Coordinate and lead analytic activities with stakeholders.
- Use software tools as required to document requirements, analyze needs, identify risk, propose designs, and write documentation
- Conduct peer reviews.
