Job Details

Job Title: Oracle SCM Architect
Location: Seattle- Hybrid (Remote we can consider)
Contract: Long Term
  • Oracle supply chain hands on Oracle Architect/Engineer/Oracle EBS developer with significant experience on implementations, support and continuous improvements in Oracle EBS in SCM (OM, Pricing, PO, INV, WIP, Costing, ASCP, isupplier). This role will be accountable for ensuring development, production support, system integrity, seamless integrations with enterprise-wide systems, and alignment with business needs to enhance operational efficiency. As a key member in supply chain technology team, you will collaborate across teams to optimize technical processes, improve system performance, and drive business value.
  • What You'll Do
  • Developing complex customizations, workflows, interfaces/integrations and reports. Unit testing of developed objects prior to migration for functional and integration testing.
  • Involvement in complex development work and application patches.
  • Perform routine audits of systems/software and troubleshooting performance issues with components like BPEL and Workflow.
  • Reviewing requirements and participating in the definition of solution options.
  • Review/enhance existing interfaces/integrations, personalization's, customizations, OAF or ADF enhancements and Oracle custom reports, Integration or SOA development.
  • Preparing documentation, such as Technical Design Specifications.
  • Providing production support. This includes troubleshooting break/fix issues, resolving technically complex software defects, and conducting performance tuning.
  • When required, logging Service Requests with Oracle and working with Oracle to resolve defects.
  • Providing assistance, coordinating and troubleshooting with side system analysts, developers, and business owners for interface support.
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices.
  • Applying standard development practices throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Weekly status reports/timesheets identifying progress, status, and issues.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to new team members.
  • Multiple integration technologies to support integrations between modules and with various side systems.
  • Some of the Technical Skills required are Shell Script, SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, SOA, Webservices (Rest/Soap), BPEL/Service Bus, Forms, Reports, Workflow/AME, JDeveloper, XML, BI Publisher and other Oracle EBS specific skills
  • Any experience with EDI will be nice to have.
  • Knowledge transfer via scheduled in-person sessions and documentation.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Supply Chain Technology experience.
  • Experience in implementing, configuring, and developing in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Modules such as (OM, Pricing, PO, INV, WIP, Costing, ASCP, isupplier) and any exposure to finance modules will be nice to have.
  • Experience with system integration, data migration, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of operations and supply chain standard methodologies.
  • Proficiency in development, testing, impact analysis and documentation in Oracle EBS SCM Modules.
  • Supply chain and/or Oracle Certification
  • Any certification related Oracle SOA, Java/JavaEE, OAF etc. will be nice to have.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other query tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of integration tools and techniques (APIs, EDI, etc.).
