We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support key initiatives within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division of a global financial institution. This role will focus on driving strategic and operational projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Pay Rate: $54.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Lead the end-to-end management of complex projects across multiple functional areas, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with business leaders, front-office teams, technology partners, risk/compliance, and operations to ensure project goals are met.

Scope & Change Management: Define project scope, manage change control, and adapt plans in response to shifting priorities or regulatory requirements.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks; escalate issues as needed to ensure transparency and resolution.

Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.

Status Reporting: Deliver regular project updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership, including progress metrics, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.

Process Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to project management frameworks and delivery methodologies.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities align with internal policies and applicable regulatory standards within the banking industry.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing projects in financial services, preferably within investment banking, trading, risk, or capital markets.

Proficient in project management methodologies such as Agile, PMBoK, or hybrid approaches.

Experience supporting enterprise change initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interface with senior stakeholders.

Experience with risk identification, mitigation strategies, and compliance monitoring.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Familiarity with financial modeling, reporting, and operational data analysis is a plus.

PMP or Agile certification preferred but not required.
