Client: Fiserv
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite 5 days/week)
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen Type: Contract (W2/C2C as applicable)

Position Overview:

Fiserv is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Writer to join their product and design team. This role requires a candidate with a passion for creating user-centered content that enhances the overall digital experience. The ideal candidate will be an expert in microcopy, UI content strategy, and digital storytelling with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX writing, especially in FinTech or financial services applications.

The UX Writer will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to create effective, engaging content across Fiserv's digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for web and mobile applications, including:
    • Microcopy, tooltips, and in-product messages
    • Buttons, menu labels, forms, headlines, and UI error messages
  • Translate complex business processes and financial concepts into digestible and intuitive language
  • Partner with designers, developers, and product owners to create content aligned with user journeys and wireframes
  • Maintain and evolve Fiserv s voice, tone, and content standards in line with branding and compliance
  • Conduct content audits and refine existing copy based on usability testing, A/B testing, and stakeholder feedback
  • Present UX writing recommendations to stakeholders and product leadership
  • Collaborate in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Ensure all content meets accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and is usable by all users
  • Provide input during design critique sessions from a copy/content perspective

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 6 years of UX writing experience, including:
    • 2 3 years in the financial services or FinTech domain
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles and the product development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile teams
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, usability testing, and content iteration
  • Familiarity with content strategy, localization, and tone/style guidelines
  • Portfolio required with relevant UX writing samples (case studies, microcopy examples, design collaboration)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as banking, payments, or insurance
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance best practices
  • Experience working with content in design tools like Figma and Adobe XD
  • Background in user research, behavioral analytics, or content design strategy
