AMS Support Analyst (Automotive Telematics/Infotainment)

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (hybrid onsite schedule each week)

Employment Type: Long-Term Contract/Contract to Hire

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced AMS (Application Management System) Support Analyst to join our leading integrator customer. In this role, you will collaborate with a major automotive client in Detroit, working onsite three days a week in northern Detroit. The primary focus will be on supporting telematics and infotainment applications within the connected vehicle domain.

Responsibilities:
  • Quickly analyze and debug issues related to the connected vehicle applications by querying system logs.
  • Understand system integration concepts, especially API specifications.
  • Create flow diagrams to visualize operational functionality.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including certificate management, product version tracking, and upgrade support.
  • Any programming background is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exposure to the automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicles.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical and user documentation.
