Entry-Level Systems Engineer (Sys Integr, Ver & Validation)

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Government Training Engineering Team is currently seeking a seeking a motivated self-starting Entry Level Systems Engineer to work in Hazelwood, Mo.

This candidate will work across one of the Air Dominance platforms in support of F/A-18, F-15, F-22 or T-7. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing requirements, writing and executing verification test procedures and supporting system integration activities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate customer and stakeholder needs to define system requirements in Systems Engineering database tools (i.e. DOORS, OSEE) following standard processes.
  • Ensure interface requirements are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Plan and complete integration activities as required to meet program needs.
  • Define and perform appropriate validation and verification tests to ensure that the system meets the defined requirements.
  • Develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements for management processes, tools, risks, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering concepts.
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • This position requires duties to be performed on-site 5 days per week.
