COOK SYSTEMS has an immediate need for a Infor Warehouse Management System (WMS) Consultant.

Infor Warehouse Management System (WMS) Consultant

Memphis, TN (Hybrid-remote: 2-3 days onsite per week)

12 months plus (possible contract for hire)

Our client is looking for an SME on Infor WMS systems. This person will help provide strategic directions based on conversations with leadership and stakeholders. He/She will work with internal and external teams to move projects to completion so PM experience is strongly desired.

Will need to be able to work onsite two or three days a week.

If the candidate does not have Infor but has other WMS experience, then they will still be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide timely and effective technical support to the users of the warehouse management system via phone, email, chat, or remote access.

Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system issues, errors, and malfunctions, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate level of support.

Perform system configuration, installation, updates, backups, and testing, and ensure the compatibility and integration of the system with other software and hardware components.

Provide training and guidance to the users on how to use the infor WMS system features and functions, and create user manuals, FAQs, and other documentation.

Collaborate with the warehouse managers, staff, and vendors to understand their needs and requirements, and provide feedback and suggestions for system improvement and enhancement.

Gather and translate the business requirements into detailed functional designs

Translate information flows and interface definitions to mapping specifications and resulting WMS functionality

Job Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least eight years of experience in providing systems support for warehouse management systems .

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, and best practices, as well as warehouse management system features and functions.

Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with users of different levels of technical expertise and backgrounds.

Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
