Job Details

Are you an experienced quality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence? Join a dynamic team as a Senior Quality Engineer, where you'll support quality operations, lead process improvement, and serve as a key liaison between internal teams and customers. In this critical role, you'll manage First Article Inspections, oversee quality assurance functions, and help maintain AS9100/ISO9001 compliance.



Schedule: 9-hour days, some flex to the start time, 1/2 day on Friday

Salary: $100,000/yr.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead QA/QC modules within the Visual Quality Database

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer returns (RMA), source inspections, and First Article submissions via Net-Inspect

  • Support quality planning, corrective actions, and root cause analysis

  • Guide and train quality team members while collaborating with engineering, operations, and sales

  • Drive compliance with FAA, FAR/DFAR, and internal quality systems

  • Analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts

  • Maintain and improve quality processes and documentation


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • FAA Repair Station Inspector certification (or ability to obtain)

  • 5+ years in a quality role, 10+ years in a manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and government contract standards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and Net-Inspect

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with quality tools including CMM, comparators, and GD&T
