Description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in a hybrid working environment. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and deploying Firewalls, Switches, and wireless controllers, among other duties. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in working with Firewalls, switches and wireless controllers.

Responsibilities:

Manage and deploy Firewalls, Switches, and wireless controllers.

Handle Load balancer deployment and management.

Take care of SSL certs creation and management.

Conduct Wireshark diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Participate in disaster recovery capacity planning.

Work with cloud computing solutions.

Perform network analysis and operations.

Develop and maintain network architecture.

Utilize IT network software.

Optimize network and troubleshoot any issues.

Handle technical project management.

Monitor, maintain, and deploy patches and remediate vulnerabilities on network switches, routers, firewalls, & network appliances.

Diagnose scenarios and design according to architecture specifications.

Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, and Firewall Technologies.

Requirements

Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Experience with Checkpoint technologies
Familiarity with Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers
Strong knowledge of Cisco Technologies
Ability to manage and maintain Computer Hardware
Experience with Configuration Management
Ability to contribute to Design processes
Proficiency in Eigrp
Knowledge of Firewall Technologies
